Payroll Assistant - 3 Month FTC (Possible Extension) - £27,000
I am pleased to be working with a terrific organisation based in Central Scotland. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with one day working in the office and four at home (after a period of training).
Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the wider team with administrative duties surrounding Payroll. This role is offered on a temporary basis until March initially - there is a possibility of extension, but nothing is set in stone yet.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Managing information required for payroll tasks,
* Supporting with data migration to new system,
* Becoming familiar with, and maintaining familiarity of, payroll and pension regulations,
* Resolving payroll-related enquiries,
* Carrying out quality-assurance checks,
* Supporting the wider HR/Payroll Teams with adhoc issues.
Payroll experience would be a big advantage when applying for this position, but we'll look at people without any as well. The most important thing is some degree of background in data management.
This role would suit somebody looking to develop their skillset - it could be a great opportunity to gain experience in a sought-after specialism.
