Operations Manager (Cleaning Contractor)
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee operations for a cleaning contracts company. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all cleaning contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Schedule and manage recurring and ad hoc cleaning work, ensuring all details (access, permits, timing) are confirmed.
2. Communicate with clients to confirm schedules, handle queries, and reschedule as required.
3. Support the operations team, addressing issues and liaising with subcontractors.
4. Prepare and follow up quotes, and manage jobs through Simpro from lead to invoicing.
5. Organize stock orders, equipment hire, and vehicle maintenance.
6. Ensure compliance by preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) as needed.
7. Onboard new staff and organize toolbox talks and training.
Goals:
1. Complete all schedules for the following week by Friday at 12 noon.
2. Ensure small jobs ( £500) within 7 days.
3. Avoid missed recurring jobs without prior authorization.
4. Work with management to improve operational processes and efficiency.
