An innovative company providing world-class technology solutions to our customers in the Aerospace industry.\n\nMaintenance Technician\n\nThe Maintenance Technician will be based at the Hucknall, North Nottingham where they will be required to repair and maintain all plant and facilities, ensuring manufacturing equipment is safe, available, and capable for use when required. The role will be multiskilled, working a 3 on, 3 off rotating shift pattern of days and nights (6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am).\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\nProvide support to the Maintenance Manager and specialist team to ensure the organisation's objectives and performance KPIs are delivered.\nPerform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks across a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment.\nMaintain site equipment to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards and in line with current UK legislation.\nWork collaboratively with other maintenance staff and production personnel.\nTrain colleagues as and when required.\nWork with site Process Engineers to help restore equipment performance to standard.\nIdentify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures.\nAnalyse equipment data to inform and implement effective maintenance strategies.\nCarry out PUWER assessments (when trained).\nIdentify and implement energy reduction improvements within plant manufacturing equipment.\nInput and analyse equipment reliability and maintenance data using a CMMS, ensuring all jobs are documented correctly.\nEnsure compliance with HSE and quality standards, raising and closing off relevant actions.\nProvide a documented handover with the other shifts.\nUnderstand and adhere to all Health & Safety requirements and company policies.\nUndertake any other duties required by the company.Key Competencies:\n\nSelf-motivated to respond to maintenance issues and complete planned maintenance.\nStrong ability to plan work and drive completion.\nAbility to fix issues right the first time while maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.\nStrong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships at all levels.\nGood communication skills.\nSolid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum principles.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings.\nAbility to operate lifting equipment such as cranes and hoists.Key Experiences:\n\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant time-served apprenticeship.\nLevel 4/HNC and above would be favourable.\nPrevious maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.Salary\n\nThe salary is between £46,770 - £53,208, which includes £6,000 shift pay per year.
