The University of Huddersfield is seeking an experienced and proactive Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager to take the lead in delivering our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Framework, aligned with our strategic values and vision.
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, advocate, and trusted advisor on all EDI matters. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will lead key initiatives, support charter mark submissions, and ensure compliance with equality legislation and sector best practice.
What we’re looking for:
* In-depth knowledge and experience of EDI in a complex organisation, ideally within higher education.
* Strong understanding of relevant legislation and equality charters.
* Proven ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience leading projects, events, or campaigns focused on inclusion and diversity.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse data, write reports, and manage competing priorities effectively.
