Salary – National Circa £28,000 - £35,000 / London Circa £30,000 - £40,000

A bit about the job:
As a Corporate Governance Trainee, you will support the Senior Corporate Governance Manager in delivering high-quality governance and company secretarial support across the Aviva Group boards and committees. You will assist with compliance in line with Company Law, Regulatory Rules, and governance codes while engaging with senior stakeholders and directors. This is an exciting opportunity to develop key skills in a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of statutory records and filings.
2. Supporting the coordination of board and committee meetings.
3. Helping to draft minutes and governance documents.
4. Providing advice on governance best practices and company secretarial matters.
5. Building relationships with directors and senior stakeholders.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. A strong interest in corporate governance and company secretarial services.
2. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
5. Self-motivated and eager to learn.
What you’ll get for this role:
1. Salary – National Circa £28,000 - £35,000 / London Circa £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
