Care Team Leader - £15.65 - £17.51 per hour
We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to provide high-quality care and support for a 15-year-old girl with a brain injury and complex needs in her home and the community.

One of our clients is now looking to directly employ a Care Team Leader to work in the family setting near Ryde.
The Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting her daily routine, therapy programmes, and social engagement, while also managing and guiding a small care team.

Key Responsibilities
* Make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life.
* Provide specialist care and support tailored to our client’s needs.
* Assist with daily activities, personal care, and therapy programmes.
* Lead in coordinating a small team of carers, ensuring high quality of care.
* Work closely with the family and healthcare professionals.
* Administer medication.
* Monitor and update care plans, ensuring all needs are met effectively.
* Maintain clear records and report changes in the client’s condition.
About You
* Experience in supporting children/young people with complex needs.
* Compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to care.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
* Experience in administrative care tasks - risk assessment, care plan management.
* Experience balancing client care needs with the requirements of a professional staff team in an intimate family setting.
Due to personal care requirements, there is an occupational requirement to recruit female staff.
Ideally, you’ll have a full, clean driving licence, but this isn’t essential.
This is a part-time role, delivering around 30 hours of care per week, with additional administrative duties as the role evolves.
Shift pattern includes two weekend shifts (09:00 - 20:00) and up to six weekday shifts (13:30 - 20:00) per fortnight. More hours may be available during school holidays.
