30044 - TRADE CONTROL ANALYST
At Eni, we are looking for a Trade Control Analyst within ETB in London. You will be responsible for performing daily price and transaction validation and control activities. You will work very closely with the Front Office and other streams within the Middle Office, as well as other parts of the ETB and ENI business.

As a member of the Risk Management and Middle Office Department at ETB you will be responsible for:
* Performing daily validation activities, making sure all financial/physical crudes and products transactions are duly and timely captured and validated according to the company procedures.
* Performing daily validation activities of relevant price information (spot/forward), making sure all relevant market data information is duly and timely validated according to the company procedures.
* Supporting the oil financial and physical end of day process in the relevant ETRM systems guaranteeing the timely generation of Position and PNL reporting.
* Performing checks on unauthorized trades and monitoring mandates/limits (tenor/quantity/value etc.).
* Performing daily market conformity controls to monitor financial and physical oil transactions.
* Ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulations.
* Ensuring all internal & external audit requests/issues are promptly addressed.
* Guaranteeing the necessary activity related to the month-end and quarter-end checks for financial and physical Oil.
* Supporting automation efforts by driving greater use of systems within the Trade Control team, eliminating manual spreadsheets and fully supporting the implementation of relevant controls directly into the trade capture systems.
* Working with ICT to drive necessary developments.
* Act as dedicated MO interface with confirmation/ contracts/ operations Department.
* Guaranteeing the appropriate level of support to the Middle Office function for what concerns New Products/Non-Standard deal approval.
* Monitoring procedural compliance for the new Financial Regulations (Mifid II/Position Limits) on first - level control execution (reporting, reconciliation).
* Building good working relationships with internal (FO, BO, Risk, IT, Finance, Sox, Audit, Compliance etc) and relevant external stakeholders (auditors, clearers, brokers etc).
* Acting as a backup to cover other trade control members across the Trade Control team.
* Coordinating stream activities to execute ad hoc demands.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
* Relevant experience within the commodities industry in an oil trading company or financial institution.
* Exposure to financial instruments related to Oil & Refined products.
* Knowledge of control processes applicable in a trading / regulated environment.
* Understanding of exchanges (i.e. ICE, CME, NYMEX, DME), Platt's Market on Close (MOC), E-window, and any other trading platforms.
* Knowledge of market venues, their practices and procedures especially in relation to product/trader set up and the systems interfaces between the exchange and the trading business.
* Ability to build and nurture effective relationships internally and externally.
* Knowledge of one or more of IT systems would be an advantage (i.e. Endur).
* Strong and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including excellent Excel and VBA along with PowerBI and Python knowledge a plus.
* Experience in the middle office/product control/back office/risk management of the trading environment would be beneficial.
* Understanding of the commodities markets, preferably physical crude & products markets.
* Full command of the English language. Knowledge of Italian would be beneficial.
