Job Location: Milton Keynes (5 days a week for the initial 2 months then hybrid 3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home)

Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team here at bp in the Milton Keynes office, who will support payroll services across multiple functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance while contributing to process improvements.
Your responsibilities:
* Prepare and monitor payroll data ensuring processes and data are in place for payroll processing as per country requirements and regulations.
* Work in coordination with the outsourced service provider to ensure gross to net data is prepared and submitted in time, review pre-payroll run data and verification, and provide final sign off to vendor prior to final payroll runs to employees.
* Conduct start of year and end of year payroll administration, preparation and processing activities working with payroll service provider.
* Support audits and regulatory requests for payroll data and respond to and process requests for changes to Payroll data.
* Monitor payroll input data quality (e.g. rewards, performance, time and attendance etc.) and process payroll impacts.
* Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR regulations.
* Expense processing and validation
* Prepare payroll reports and liaise with finance teams regarding payroll reconciliation.
* Ensure all statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) and year-end processes are completed accurately and on time.
* Keep up to date with payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.
What you will have:
* Minimum 2x years of payroll experience
* CIPP qualification desirable but not compulsory
* Knowledge of ADP Globalview (SAP)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes to strict deadlines
* Attention to detail
* Applies judgement and common sense
* Analytic and logic approach to problem solving
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
