We are gearing up for our most exciting and challenging Asset Management Period yet, known as AMP8, which will see us deliver a programme of work larger than we’ve ever delivered before, focusing on nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes.
We’re looking to build on our existing teams with an environment built for career progression.
We need aspiring driven talent to help us achieve our ambitious targets. Are you ready to join us?

What will you be doing as our new Lead Electrical Engineer?
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will provide engineering technical direction to the discipline engineers in your area, ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards.
You will check and review electrical design deliverables produced by other engineers in the @one Alliance and supply chain. You will coach and mentor junior and less experienced members of the electrical team.
Key Accountabilities:

5. Review construction site design queries and change requests.
6. Input into Construction Design management (CDM) and commissioning strategy meetings.
7. Update and collaborate with the Principal Engineer on potential improvements.
8. Liaise with other departments on design requirements.
9. Manage quality through the design workflow review.
10. Support other leads and engineers to deliver engineering outputs to time and quality standards.
11. Drive sustainability and low carbon designs.
12. Drive offsite build, modular construction, and repeatable solutions.
A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours:
To be successful, you will have an engineering degree or equivalent knowledge through experience, preferably be Chartered, or working towards Chartered status. Experience of water-sector assets and capital projects is essential. You will demonstrate knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice. Ideally, you will have experience in mentoring junior engineers.
Your leadership skills will be demonstrated with integrity and respect for others, ensuring responsible actions and protecting our reputation. You will ensure effective team interactions and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
