Catering Assistant – 26 hours per week – 42 weeks per year (Term time + 6 weeks) 12pm – 5pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. 2pm –
7pm Wednesday and 10am – 4pm Friday. Based on site in Weybridge

We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistant, to work with the Hospitality and Catering team particularly alongside the Brooks
Café Commercial Manager. Support the day to day operations of Brooks Café, Starbucks drinks counter and our mobile coffee cart.
About the role:
As Catering Assistant, you will provide a first-class customer service experience and ensure that areas fully meet food safety and
environmental health standards
Your role will involve:
* Serving students, staff and external customers
* Counter services, Starbucks drinks and mobile coffee cart
* Working as part of a team, supporting with some food preparation
* Responsible for maintaining and cleaning all kitchen areas
* Provide a professional and efficient service to staff and learners
* Maintain security regimes for stock and cash handling
To fulfil the role of Catering Assistant you will have:
* Food Hygiene Certificate level 2 – highly desirable
* Proven experience of working within catering or hospitality
* Maths and English level 2 or equivalent
* Sound knowledge of Health & Safety
* First class customer service skills
