Job Title: 1:1 SEN Support Location: Wetherby, Leeds Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 per day Job Duties: Provide 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting Implement individualised education plans and strategies to support the learning and development of students Assist students with academic tasks, social interactions, and emotional regulation Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for students with SEN Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders Required Qualifications: Relevant experience working with individuals with SEN Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Education: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Special Education) Experience: Previous experience working in a similar role supporting individuals with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Empathy and patience when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Training in specific SEN interventions (e.g., Makaton, Autism Awareness) Experience working in a classroom setting Working Conditions: This role involves working in an educational setting, interacting with students, teachers, and parents.
