Ipswich Community Nursing team are recruiting Band 4 Nursing Associates!
We are looking for a permanent part-time band 4 Nurse Associate within the Ipswich West Community IP2 Nursing Team. You will have experience of working in a nursing team and hold a band 4 nurse associate qualification and registration with the NMC. You will be passionate, committed, innovative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to delivering high quality care in a community setting.
You will be supported by the Registered Nurses and Nurse Lead, whilst continuing to work within knowledgeable experienced team and wider MDT. Candidates should be flexible, motivated, and willing to work within a changing environment. You will be provided support through in-service training and professional forums, mandatory training, 1:1 and personal development meetings as well as clinical rolling skills training via the practice development facilitators. We facilitate students on training and have close working relationships with neighbouring community teams in Health and Social Care.
We are ideally looking for an individual who is already completing or has already completed their Nurse Associate Course.
Your duties would include wound care, leg ulcer management, pressure area care, palliative care, venepuncture, catheter care, ordering equipment, involvement in link roles such as tissue viability, support of students and junior staff. We offer a variety of training to up skill and maintain your clinical skills.

The Ipswich Teams are all co-located with the therapy, social care and out of hours nursing and therapy teams based at Constantine House in Ipswich. The team consists of district nurses & Junior Sisters, community nurses, assistant practitioners, generic workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social care workers. The team is led by a lead nurse and overall managed by an INT manager, supported by an administrator and care co-ordinator.
