Annual salary: up to £40,000.00 Compliance Manager The role is based at our Aylesford branch (due to relocate to a new site in the new year. The new location will still be on the outskirts of Maidstone, near Junction 7 of the M20) Full Time, Permanent Salary up to £40,000 per annum, plus, company vehicle or car allowance 40 hours per week Monday – Friday Hybrid working pattern – Office / Home / Site visits About the role: As a Compliance Manager at our Kent FM branch, you will oversee and manage the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) compliance processes across all Hard FM services for our NHS clients. You will use internal reporting platforms to track progress and delivery, working closely with our scheduling team to aim for 100% compliance. PPM inspections are required for various Hard FM assets on this contract at weekly, monthly, and 3, 6, and 12-month intervals. You will ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements and internal policies are always met for specific named contracts. Duties: To manage the Compliance PPM programme's for all Hard FM services on our contracts with the NHS Trusts. With particular focus on the big 6 - Gas, Electrical, Water, Fire, Asbestos, & Lifts Liaise directly with clients to overcome any issues that may affect compliance position Ensure planned inspection dates align with compliance requirements Work to add value for money to contract and NHS trusts Ensuring Sub-contractors are performing as required and providing value for money on PPM inspections Attend regular site and remote meetings with clients and internal stakeholders To periodically conduct audits and reviews to ensure execution of compliance standards and provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews as required Keep up to date with, and understand, relevant laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures Compile meaningful periodic reports on current risk and compliance performance for the branch Support General Manager in client and internal stakeholder meetings, with data presentations and updates on compliance positions Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation, including the monitoring of the compliance systems to ensure process effectiveness Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues, highlighting and escalating areas of concern as appropriate Consult with the relevant legal teams within Mears on Compliance matters To act at all times in accordance with Mears Group Policies, Processes and Systems Compliance with ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 at all times.
