Do you have previous EYFS experience supporting pupils in a school environment? If so, please read on.

Unique School Solutions are working with a wonderful Rotherham Primary School (S65) to recruit a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to support within the classroom.

This is a full-time, term time only position to start on 1st October 2024. Initially, this role will be temporary for a period of 12 school weeks but made permanent following the successful completion of this probation.

The hours for this role are 8:15am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday term time only.

Successful candidates are expected to be passionate about making a difference to children and will be working closely with class teachers and other school staff. They will provide a high quality of support and communication with their students and be able to work in small groups.

About the role:

1. Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and have experience working with children aged 3-5 years.
2. Support teaching and learning in EYFS following the school’s curriculum.
3. Work in partnership with the class teacher to measure the impact and evaluation of teaching and learning.
4. Support children with learning through play, encouraging pupils to interact with peers and engage in activities.
5. Liaise with external agencies and parents/carers when required.
6. Be part of the wider school community when required.
