We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (Contact Centre OR SaaS) to join a fantastic, well-established business based in Glasgow, Scotland.
The successful candidate will be tasked with generating appointments at director level for yourself & the BD team to convert. The ideal candidate will be target-driven, bright, confident, and have a keen interest in technology.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working with the business to target the right new clients for their Contact Centre business.
2. Following up on internal and external leads to move them from enquiry to appointment.
3. Working towards set Business Development KPI's.
4. Providing first-class customer service to potential new customers and portraying the company in a positive manner at all times.
5. B2B pipeline development engaging new prospective customers.
6. Pipeline management.
7. Working to business targets.
8. Ensuring a fantastic customer experience, customer journey & onboarding process.
Key Skills Required:
1. Excellent client engagement & client development.
2. High volume outbound calling approaching new logos.
3. Proven sales experience within a target-driven environment.
4. Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow ensuring financial sales objectives are delivered/achieved.
5. Demonstrate the ability to consistently work towards and exceed expectations/targets.
6. Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage clients, business owners, and colleagues.
7. Ability to use own initiative to manage own performance & understand BD KPI's and adhere to them.
8. Experience in B2B business pipeline development.
9. Strong influencing/negotiation skills.
10. Great rapport building.
11. Highly motivated with the ability to work to target.
