We're looking for a skilled IT Procurement Manager to join us on an 8-month fixed term basis (until July 2025) to help migrate and manage IT spend across both our existing and new business as part of our recent growth in service delivery. Starting in April 2025, HCRG Care Group will take on three large service contracts, increasing our client offering, staff base, supplier base, and spending footprint. This role is essential to ensure that economies of scale are realised and that systems are integrated smoothly, avoiding duplication or conflicts. As part of this role, you will work closely with both Procurement and IT departments, managing the migration or cancellation of incoming IT contracts from existing service providers, expanding existing licenses and hardware requirements, and using procurement leverage to achieve the best long-term product and pricing mix. This hybrid position allows for 90% remote work, with occasional travel to our head office in Runcorn or service areas in Leicestershire, Bath & North East Somerset, and Surrey, as needed. Months 2-5: Review SaaS contracts, ensuring legal and stakeholder approvals.
* Months 2-5: Collaborate with IG and IS teams on data security and cybersecurity.
* Months 2-8: Manage vendor relationships and support supplier management.
* Months 2-8: Ensure new suppliers meet contractual, data protection, and ethical standards.
* Months 5-8: Contribute to related Procurement and accounts projects.
* Months 7-8: Develop an IT category plan, finalize the license database, and report total savings achieved., 5+ years of recent Procurement experience, with at least 3 years in IT (category management or project delivery experience preferred).
* Commercially driven, with a strong track record in software and licensing delivery.
* High-level contract management skills, including experience with:
+ SaaS agreements + Cybersecurity standards + Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs + Multiple contract types, terminations, and novations.
* Experience working with senior IT stakeholders.
* Initiative-driven problem solver who goes the extra mile.
* Good system skills and memory, with intermediate or advanced Microsoft product skills.
It would be highly desirable for candidates to have experience in projects involving the transfer or cancellation of contracts and systems due to a company buyout or change of service provider.
