We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our head office in Cowick.
Who We're Looking For:
* Relevant Payroll qualification such as CIPP
* Experience in a Payroll Manager role or similar Payroll Leadership role
* Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements
* Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of payroll systems and best practices
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge and proven experience of international payrolls includes shadowing overseas payrolls
* Experience of annual reporting requirements such as Gender Pay Gap and Directors Reporting Requirements (DRR)
What You'll Be Doing:
* Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for approx. 1000 employees including benefits administration/payrolling benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Lead, develop and motivate a small team, providing support and training as required
* Work closely with finance, employment tax and the wider HR team to ensure collaboration and cross functional working for a seamless payroll operation
* Lead and manage ongoing/new payroll projects
* Handle payroll queries, from basic to complex, providing clear and professional responses to all levels of employees this may include queries from overseas assignments.
* Manage third party relationships with payroll vendors and Service providers
* Responsible for the processing of annual cycles such as pay review, bonus, P11D and PSA
