- THE ROLE -
The post holder will provide technical support for research activities as part of the Smart Manufacturing Data Hub within the Cognitive Robotics Laboratory, Intelligent Systems Research Centre. They will provide technical advice, guidance and instruction to staff and students in the use of specialist equipment and materials.
We may create a 12-month waiting list for same or similar roles within the Department / Faculty. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.
- ABOUT YOU -
The post holder must have:
- HNC/HND or equivalent in a computing/engineering discipline, and/or specific qualifications or courses related to computer hardware, computer administration, robotics, IoT and/or electronics.
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an Engineering and Computing environment.
- Technical office practice including contract administration, general administration and use and development of computerised systems
