An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced plasterer/tiler to join C-urb’s Planned Maintenance team. The role will involve plaster and tiler work as part of new kitchen and bathroom installations and general plastering and tiling repairs in tenants' homes. The Plasterer/Tiler will work as part of a multi-skilled trade team carrying out kitchen/ bathroom installations, rewires and property refurbishments and will be able to carry out multi-trade tasks when required. We are looking for applications from experienced Plasterer/Tilers who demonstrate high professional standards, especially in respect of quality and customer service. The post will be based in Link's Falkirk Office but there will be a requirement to work throughout Link's areas of operation, therefore a driving licence is essential. The plasterer/tiler will be able to plan their own workload and work flexibly to ensure that timescales are met. About You As an experienced Plasterer/Tiler, you will have an NVQ/City & Guilds in Plastering/Tiling or equivalent and proven experience in a similar role. This role requires a competent knowledge of Plaster manufactured components and you will be competent in other core trades associated with Plastering installations. Knowledge of and a commitment to excellent customer care is essential to this role. As Plasterer/Tiler, you will have a sound knowledge and awareness of relevant Health and Safety requirements and an understanding of legislation and how both impact on method of work and customer needs. This role requires knowledge of a variety of traditional and non-traditional construction methods.
