We are looking to employ experienced HGV drivers to join the Backline team on a permanently employed, £39,780 salary plus overtime to work with our clients, driving rigids and artics on distribution and trunking duties.
This role has all the variety and flexibility that contract work gives you but with the added financial security of an annual salary plus overtime and other benefits such as a free ongoing training package that includes disciplines such as HIAB, ADR, Moffet, CPC and also licence upgrades (rigid to artic). We will provide you with steady work and upskill you to become one of our Elite Driving Team.
This roll also includes an optional healthcare package, a NEST pension, full uniform and PPE.
You will be working with our local client-base on a variety of work that suits your abilities and importantly, work that you enjoy doing. Our aim is to play to your strengths and develop your skills on an ongoing basis to provide you with financial / employment stability and to also provide our clients with the very best drivers.
About you:
We are looking for drivers with a minimum of a 2 years commercial HGV experience who are looking for variety and new challenges. Initial criteria includes:
· Max 6 points for minor offences
· Valid HGV licence, CPC and digicard
· 2 years HGV driving experience
· 2 years checkable work history
· An ambition to settle into a steady, varied role
