Within CADS service there is currently a vacancy for Band 5 Registered Nurse within the core teams based at St Ninians. The post holder must be 1 St level Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) trained to degree level. The post holder will provide evidence-based, effective interventions to those with substance use problems. The Registered Nurse will implement the principles of the recovery model of care and treatment for those with drug/alcohol related issues. This involves participating in structured supervision and supporting student nurse training and development. The role includes assessment; planning and implementing appropriate treatment and clinical interventions are being delivered to this vulnerable group. Full training will be provided by the service and allocated mentor will be assigned. The substance use services promote the recovery model works to an integrated model of care in conjunction with partner agencies, good interpersonal skills and experience of team working is an essential requirement for this post. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
