Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services – and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,395.88
Based at: Neville Street, Cardiff
Role Purpose: The post-holder will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Cardiff and The Vale Community Support Services, utilising existing staff and volunteers. This includes overseeing Adferiad’s co-occurring mental health and substance use services and the Carer and Family Support Services across Cardiff and The Vale. In line with Adferiad’s commitment to empowerment, self-management, recovery, equality, and diversity, the post-holder will ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, health and safety, and other requirements. The Service Manager will be a key contact for statutory and non-statutory services and other agencies, ensuring positive and effective working relationships. The role promotes a culture that prioritises those who use our services.
