Our client, a well-established Corporate Services Provider, is seeking an experienced Company Secretarial Manager to join their professional team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality corporate governance and company secretarial services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be based in either Southampton or London, with regular travel to Southampton as required.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with the UK Companies Act 2006, corporate governance best practices, and regulatory requirements. Being the first point of contact for a number of corporate clients including Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Limited Partnerships and Charities.
2. Operating as part of a team of company secretarial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development. Taking managerial responsibilities for a more junior member.
3. Provide guidance to clients on statutory obligations, corporate structures, and governance matters.
4. Facilitate and manage board and shareholder meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
5. Ensure accurate and timely filings with Companies House and other regulatory bodies.
6. Support clients with corporate transactions, including incorporations, restructurings, and dissolutions.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory changes, advising clients accordingly.
Ideal Candidate:
1. A Chartered Governance Institute (ICSA/CGI) qualification (or be working towards it), or alternatively significant experience in a company secretarial role, ideally within a corporate services, legal, or professional services environment.
2. Strong technical expertise in UK company law, corporate governance, and compliance.
3. Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering a high standard of professional service.
4. Demonstrable leadership skills, with either management or mentorship experience.
