About the Role
Base Location: Flexible UK | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSEN offices or depots around the UK.
Salary: £58,630 - £68,098 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The Digital Enablement Team are the primary business representatives that act as the bridge between the DSO business teams and technology functions. Core to the duties at this time is the role of Data Products Owner, whose purpose is to be the outcome owner, focused on ensuring data products deliver both business and customer value. They are accountable for the value delivered and responsible for the entire product lifecycle, including design, delivery and operations. They are empowered to make decisions and should be able to negotiate in making decisions around priority, scope and requirements with impacted stakeholders.
* Define the Product Roadmap - You will define the vision of the product in collaboration with key stakeholders and turn the product vision into an actionable backlog and roadmap. You will evolve the product roadmap based on customer, product team and business feedback linked to business outcomes. You will determine developments to the strategic roadmap based on business strategy changes and work with the wider team to inform funding and investment requirements.
* Delivery - You will oversee product priorities and development stages working to remove impediments to product progress and assist with work dependencies, risks and issues evaluating the product's progress against defined business outcomes. In addition, you will provide business readiness support – supporting business leaders in preparation for implementation and change management in product rollout & enhancements.
* Governance - Provide regular updates against defined business outcomes to demonstrate performance and progress. This includes actioning and progressing issues as appropriate, ensuring follow through to resolution and applying lessons learnt process where necessary.
* Management of 3rd parties - Act as a routine contact point between organisation and supplier. Monitor contract performance, manage underperformance and escalate where necessary.
* Stakeholder Engagement - This will include building and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to identify opportunities for product refinement and, gain an understanding of future challenges.

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for liaising at all levels.
* Experience and ability to prioritise activities based on value delivered.
* Ability to negotiate requirements, timelines and other delivery metrics across product lifecycle.
* Ability to identify and manage key stakeholders.
* Lateral thinker with ability to ask open questions, consider all options & make informed decisions.
