Description Warehouse Supervisor Coca-Cola Lisburn Shift: 40 hrs a week, 3 weekly rotating shift pattern Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am Summary and purpose of position: Wincanton is a leading supply chain partner in the UK, providing supply chain solutions up and down the country. The candidate will manage the site’s operational activities in a manner that is efficient, cost effective and takes into consideration the service level agreements in such a way that the site key operational performance objectives are met. This is a hands-on role and requires a candidate who enjoys interacting on the shop-floor but can also demonstrate a high level of organisation, administrative and IT skills to manage overall performance. Reporting to the site Warehouse Shift Managers this role is pivotal to the efficient running of the Warehouse and will be focused on delivering consistent performance against agreed operational KPIs. You will have full accountability for the day to day running of the Warehouse and Operatives and for delivering excellent customer service, satisfaction and to ensure delivery of all Warehouse KPI’s. The candidate will be highly motivated demonstrating excellent productivity and attendance combined with flexibility whilst promoting a culture that positively supports employee engagement. Duties and responsibilities: To have full accountability for a team of Warehouse Operatives Work with support teams to ensure all recruitment, inductions and training is delivered in accordance with site policies, procedures, and processes. Manage absence, sickness & holidays via the Kronos Attendance System on a daily basis and in line with payroll cut off deadlines. Plan resources to ensure as an operation, we have the appropriate skill base available to meet the operational demands and KPI’s. Manage the team by giving direction and leadership. Lead the team brief at the start of each shift to engage with staff and discuss in detail any H&S issues, shift productivity, and focus points. Attendance management, including completing absence forms and completing return to work meetings. Manage long term absences with support of the HR team i.e., organising and leading welfare meetings, occupational health referrals and any absence review meetings as per Company policies and procedures. Increase and maintain productivity and profitability within area of responsibility. Ensure adherence to site procedures, standards, and audit processes. Ensure the site complies with Health & Safety Regulations and any non-conformance is managed. Attend any training sessions to ensure you are fully equipped to perform your role. This could include travel to different locations/sites. Ensure development of direct reports and support their journey through the learning and development platforms. Complete accident / incident / near miss reports and investigations as per KPI’s and Company processes. Communicate effectively at all levels using all types of media (Verbal, email etc.) Develop and maintain effective working relations with the customer and effective resolution problems. Build a high-performance culture by setting targets, measuring performance, providing regular feedback, recognising achievements, or coaching individuals as required in order to develop an engaged workforce. Experience, skills and attributes Strong experience gained in a manufacturing logistics / supply chain in FMCG environment. Knowledge and understand of Warehouse Health & Safety KPI’s, operational processes and service level agreements. Ability to delegate tasks to ensure high performance and operational targets are met. Agile approach, ability of adapting operational plans to changing customer requirements. Competent administration and IT skills in Microsoft Word applications, especially in Outlook, Word and Excel Understand how to use IT systems to enable you to manage attendance and track performance of employees.
