We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Sports Coach with a focus on Netball to join our team in September 2025. The successful applicants will demonstrate a passion for their subject area and have experience in coaching Netball as well as a variety of games. They will be responsible for assisting in the planning and delivery of coaching sessions to students in a variety of sports, as well as taking an active role in coaching initiatives.
Due to the remote location of the school, Candidates are required to have access to reliable transportation.
As a Sports Coach, your responsibilities would include:
* Coaching games throughout the School and to support the Director of Sport in the implementation and delivery of the School’s games programme
* Assist with the programme of Games and PE in collaboration with other members of the department
* Actively be involved in the extra-curricular programme in the School
* Ensure classrooms, associated areas and sports facilities are secure, safe, orderly and stimulating environments for students
* Participate in duties on school days and evenings as required including cover lessons, where necessary
What we are looking for:
* Relevant sports coaching qualification
* Ability to utilise key software, such as Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent customer focus and people skills
Desirable attributes:
* Experience of working within an educational environment
* Experience of lacrosse would be beneficial.
