Position Overview: The Junior Project Manager/Estimator will assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion and provide accurate cost estimations for various projects. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget, and helping to streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
1. Assist in planning, executing, and closing construction projects.
2. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
3. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that arise.
4. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
2. Estimating:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overheads.
2. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to determine accurate quantities and costs.
3. Collaborate with senior estimators to review and refine estimates.
4. Assist in preparing and submitting bids and proposals.
3. Communication:
1. Act as a liaison between clients, project teams, and subcontractors.
2. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, costs, and timelines.
3. Address and resolve any client or team concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. 1-3 years of experience in construction project management or estimating.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
4. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and estimating tools (e.g., RSMeans, Buildertrend).
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
8. Drivers license and transportation is required for this position.
9. Flexibility and willingness to travel is required for this position.

Compensation: Will depend upon experience but will be in the range of 55-65k.
