* Carry out large area surveys monitoring for radiological particles on various beaches along the Caithness coastline and complete required documentation and radiological survey reports.
* Driving and towing of survey vehicles

Description

Requirements
* Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Health Physics Surveyor
* Full driving licence - position involves the use a four-wheel drive vehicles and trailers, and off-road only, four-wheel drive four-wheel steer single occupancy survey vehicle. Appropriate training will be provided.
* Comfortable working to support the project in a harsh environment as required.
* Basic computer literacy
* Flexible start and finish times as required in line with the coastal tides and weather.
* Working in a small self-contained team.
Profile
* Communication Skills - Ability to communicate and create a good working partnership with the client, members of regulating bodies, various nuclear governing bodies, suppliers and the public is essential.
Qualifications
* Essential - Maths, English, Science at Scottish Nat 5 level or equivalent (GCSE).
* Recognised Health Physics qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ).
* Basic Radiation Awareness training.

* Salary £35,163.88
* Benefits will include 25 days holiday, 8.5% pension contribution from NUVIA.
* Permanent, full-time position based at Dounreay and local area.
