Key Responsibilities:
* Assist conveyancers and solicitors with property transactions, including sales, purchases, and transfers.
* Prepare and manage legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and land registry applications.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth progress of cases.
* Conduct searches, file documents with HM Land Registry, and manage online submissions.
* Organize and maintain client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents.
* Schedule appointments, meetings, and track deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in conveyancing or as a legal secretary is highly desirable.
* Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., Case Management Systems).
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
