We are seeking to appoint an experienced Data and Cover Manager for a fixed term who will be responsible for managing and analysing school data, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data records and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
This is a full time role starting ASAP and you will be expected to work from 8.30am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Your role will include:
1. To provide efficient and effective administration of the Statutory Consultation (Admissions) process for students with EHC Plans, liaising with SEN sections in feeder LA's.
2. Accurate information on places available is provided and/or triggers for discussions on additionally funded places
3. Contingency reception cover e.g. for staff meetings; to cover staff absences
4. To arrange teacher/teaching assistant supply cover in the event of curriculum staff absence via one of the approved agencies in line with SHS Cover Procedure
5. To liaise with the appropriate Deputy Headteacher in relation to planned and unplanned daily cover requirements notifying them of the absence and the cover booking arrangement and any issues arising with cover
6. To be the first point of contact for the staff absence mobile and the cover email, notifying
7. SLT via the cover email of all staff absence (sickness, appointments, training, lateness) and any cover arrangements by 8am each day
8. Ensure cover work sent to the cover email is printed and organised ready for the cover lesson
9. To meet the cover teacher/teaching assistant on arrival; check and log original documents
10. (DBS and ID) and issue a copy of the schools' information and safeguarding pamphlet before handing over to the Deputy Headteacher
11. To maintain clear and accurate cover records via the cover diary and the daily cover spreadsheet
Who we're looking for:
12. Experience in School Data and Office management or a similar role, desirable
13. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
14. Proficiency in school data management software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
15. Understanding of data protection regulations and best practices
16. Strong organisational and time-management abilities
17. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
18. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
19. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
20. Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to complete a new DBS
21. Relevant professional experience with 2 recent professional references
