About us
Ash Hill Primary School is in the Micklefield area of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The youngest children at our school are 3 years old (Nursery class), and the oldest are eleven (Year 6). There are approximately 210 children at Ash Hill altogether. The Nursery is housed in the on-site Children's Centre, which provides a range of services and activities for families in the area. Ash Hill is a happy school, and everyone works together to ensure that the children are safe and well looked after, and that they all receive an education which enables them to meet their full potential.
About the role
To provide a welcoming, safe and clean environment for users of the school buildings and grounds; security duties as directed on school premises and site.
To ensure the suitability and availability of school premises and grounds so that teaching and learning can be carried out in a clean, safe and suitable environment.
Cleaning some areas where necessary and basic maintenance tasks.
Responsibility for clearing events, setting up for the next day, ensuring the site is left tidy at the end of each evening and locking up and securing the site.

• Building maintenance
• Security, including alarm systems
• Some DIY
• Working in a team
Physical requirements:
• Be reasonably fit to carry out the duties of the job
• Able to carry out manual handling and lifting
