This is an exciting opportunity to support and mentor the next generation of plumbing and gas professionals while working within a progressive and supportive educational environment. The Role As a Technical Skills Coach (Assessor), you’ll manage a caseload of apprentices on the Plumbing Level 3 and Gas Apprenticeship Programmes, helping them achieve their goals through effective mentoring and teaching. You’ll: Conduct progress reviews with apprentices and line managers every 8–12 weeks. Support apprentices in developing skills, knowledge, and behaviours to achieve their end-point assessments. Track progress in functional skills and ensure timely completions. Provide coaching and mentoring to prepare apprentices for successful career outcomes. What We’re Looking For Qualifications: Educated to Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating. Gas certifications: CCN1 and CENWAT (or willingness to achieve them). A recognised Teaching Qualification and A1 Assessors Award (or willingness to work towards them). Experience: Practical industry experience in plumbing, heating, and gas. A passion for supporting apprentices and helping them achieve professional success.
