Lending Product and Change Manager
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in the Bank’s Kent Office)
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (32 hours per week)
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading social impact Challenger Bank as a Lending Product and Change Manager. This progressive organisation is committed to empowering UK charities and social enterprises by providing financial support to critical sectors such as Social Housing, Health & Social Care, and Community-Based Organisations. As the Bank enters a new growth phase in 2025, they are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to drive key changes and optimisations within their lending operations.
Role Overview:
As the Lending Product and Change Manager, you will play a key role in managing and improving the bank’s lending product operations. You will be responsible for leading projects, driving efficiency, enhancing customer experiences, and leveraging technology solutions to improve the overall lending journey. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure the smooth delivery of change initiatives, manage the lending product backlog, and contribute to the overall strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Change: Oversee the design, development, and execution of technology projects to improve processes such as onboarding, document management, and core banking system updates.
* Drive Efficiency: Spearhead the implementation of systems and automation tools to optimise lending operations.
* Support Product Strategy: Contribute to defining and delivering product strategies that align with customer needs and market demands.
* Manage Projects: Ensure successful delivery of change projects, applying best practices in project and change management.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimise both customer and internal user experiences through technology and innovation.
What You’ll Need:
* Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in lending product management or project management within a financial institution. Knowledge of secured lending products is highly desirable.
* Skills: Strong understanding of Salesforce, project management tools (PRINCE, ITIL), and the ability to interpret data for strategic decision-making.
