Page Personnel have just registered a new, Interim Payroll Specialist position for a leading Manufacturing business based in Hull. Our client is looking for a Payroll professional to join their team, initially on a 6 month interim basis offering the potential for contract extension and the flexibility of attractive hybrid working.
Job Description
* Oversee all payroll operations to ensure accurate and timely payment.
* Identify areas that require improvement and efficiency and implementing these changes.
* Manage and guide the payroll team towards achieving set objectives.
* Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
* Handle payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline payroll processes.
* Manage monthly payroll reconciliations and audits.
* Provide payroll reports to management for decision-making.
* Keep abreast of payroll tax laws and regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
* A strong background in Accounting & Finance.
* Proven experience in a role of this nature or Payroll Specialist position.
* Proficiency in payroll software and systems - ideally Itrent.
* Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary up to £35,000 per annum equivalent + 6 month fixed term role + immediate start + hybrid working (1-2 days in the office) + accessible Hull location + excellent staff benefits + potential for this contract to be extended.
