We are partnering with a fast-growing scientific media company with a global reach. They are looking to add a new Content Editor to their publishing team to create scientific content that will drive audience development. Based near Bath, with very flexible working arrangements available, our client publishes a diverse array of multi-format content for the scientific community, including interactive digital platforms, video interviews with award-winning scientists, new product reviews, and much more The Content Editor will collaborate with the sales team and client services, focusing on audience development and timely content delivery. The goal is to meet KPIs and boost engagement on a recently launched website. Responsibilities include writing features and articles, promoting the business, engaging with scientists and manufacturers, and monitoring downloadable content with quarterly engagement reports. Key responsibilities: Creating targeted content, and writing, editing, and proofreading content Growing and nurturing the audience Building new industry contacts ensuring content meets KPIs Supporting social media activities Monitoring and reporting on downloadable content analytics monthly and quarterly Assisting sales through calls and sponsor meetings Attending industry events to develop contacts, partnerships As this role works very closely with technical and scientific content, a degree in a scientific field is an essential requirement. This is a very exciting role and could be the perfect next step for a good storyteller who is passionate about promoting scientific content and engaging with a global scientific community. The ideal candidate will come from a scientific background (preferably in Life Sciences or Chemistry) and have previous experience in B2B communication and digital content creation.
