Engineering Coordinator, plan maintenance, managing stores, book contractors for large production company
Your new company
Engineering Coordinator job with a food production company based in County Armagh. The company has excellent processes, the engineering team has some of the best retention in Northern Ireland and some of their projects are the most innovative in local engineering, so in terms of engineering, it's an exciting place to be. They have a huge site that continues to grow and offer you personal development and commit to delivery. This is an ideal role for a maintenance engineer to get off the tools or a graduate starting out.
Your new role
The engineering coordinator supports the maintenance planner and the entire engineering team by taking responsibility for ensuring all new equipment is catalogued onto the maintenance system and all part numbers are supported, taking readings from equipment to measure efficiency and reliability, delegating tasks to the team, engaging with contractors and supporting engineering projects through planning works. A very varied role working with a great team of highly skilled engineers that will support your development.
What you'll need to succeed
The role would require you to have some understanding of some equipment parts. For example, the difference in some valves or pumps etc but also strong organisational skills.
What you'll get in return
This is a day-based role from Monday to Friday supporting an engineering team with little expectation to work outside of that. Salary can reflect the level of expertise you have from graduate to experience, so speak to me on what you need. In addition, there is a strong annual leave and welfare package for all staff.
