We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional care and education to children. As the Nursery Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursery. You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, overseeing the implementation of the curriculum, and ensuring the smooth running of operations. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Nursery Manager in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures. Support and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Ensure the nursery is compliant with regulatory requirements and health and safety guidelines. Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect. Assist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery's quality of care and education. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in early years education, along with proven experience in a leadership or supervisory position within a nursery setting. You should have a deep understanding of early years frameworks and regulations, and a genuine passion for providing the best possible start in life for young children. Requirements Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in a senior role within an early years setting. Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements. Experience in leading and motivating a team of nursery staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding training.
