Banana Moon Day Nurseries is a leading provider of high-quality childcare and early years education. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team in delivering exceptional care and education to children.
As the Nursery Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursery. You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, overseeing the implementation of the curriculum, and ensuring the smooth running of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Nursery Manager in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures
* Support and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed
* Ensure the nursery is compliant with regulatory requirements and health and safety guidelines
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect
* Assist in planning and organizing age-appropriate activities and learning experiences for children
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery's quality of care and education
Requirements:
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
* At least 2 years of experience in a senior role within an early years setting
* Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements
* Experience in leading and motivating a team of nursery staff
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* DBS clearance and relevant safeguarding training
* Sound knowledge of OFSTED's education inspection framework
