GSL Education seeks a motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a primary school in Rotherham. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to make a positive impact on children’s learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
* Provide individual and small group support to students who need extra help.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage active participation.
* Support with preparing learning materials and activities.
Requirements of the Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience in a teaching support role or working with children is desirable.
* A proactive and patient approach to supporting children’s learning.
* Uni students are encouraged to apply.
* Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
* Passionate about helping children develop confidence and achieve their potential.
* An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, with any gaps explained).
* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
