We are a recruitment company specializing in MEP recruitment in the Built Environment, looking for an Electrically biased Project Manager with previous experience managing multi-million pound MEP schemes within the construction and built environment.
Our client is a significant MEP contractor with offices UK-wide, and their North West office needs an additional staff Project Manager to run a multi-million pound project in the heart of the Wirral.
The job is circa £6M MEP value, JCT contract, and contains, but is not limited to:
1. AHUs
2. A/C
3. Clean water
4. Deionised water
5. Intelligent lighting
6. Daylight dimming
7. Electrical and mechanical services
Client liaison is an essential skill. The project is on a significant site that will run until mid-2025. However, there is a chance to help create lasting relationships that could offer years of work, giving the right person confidence that a move to our client has a long-lasting and prosperous future.
The job is awarded and goes live to site in early October. There is already support from a site-based Mechanical Engineer and a visiting Contracts Manager, who is currently working with the client, design consultant, and sending out enquiries to the subcontractors network. You will join these activities and take over to manage moving forward.
Your previous experience must be in the built environment, demonstrating management of similar projects. You will keep tight control on time, budget, and output with the support of the engineer on site, along with site managers and in-house support from the commercial and buying teams.
Please get in touch to discuss further. We have worked with this particular client for over a decade, and those we've placed are still very much part of the team. The hiring manager is someone we placed in 2012, who has risen to Operations and is the supporting POC for this job. The company has a great and proven reputation for retention and staff satisfaction.
