Job Duties:
* Provide tailored English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students
* Create individualised learning plans to address specific learning needs
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Support students in improving their understanding and skills in English and Maths
* Collaborate with other educators and school staff to ensure student success
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
* Demonstrated ability to work with students of diverse learning needs
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the GCSE level, in line with the UK curriculum
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning
* Effective classroom management techniques
* Experience in providing one-on-one tutoring or intervention support
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours, flexible schedule
* Work primarily in a learners homes or local libraries
* May require travel to different locations within the area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
