The successful Architectural Technologist will have several years of post-qualification experience working on residential projects, with strong technical detailing and drawing experience and up-to-date knowledge of current building regulations.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technologist:
1. CIAT accredited or working towards
2. Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural technology
3. At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in a UK-based architectural practice
4. Strong technical abilities
5. Effective problem-solving skills
6. Job running experience is beneficial
7. Excellent communication and presentation abilities
8. Proactive approach to self-development
9. Experienced with construction drawing packages
10. Produce accurate design and access statements
11. Ability to work well within a team environment as well as independently
12. Strong portfolio of residential and master planning projects
13. Confident producing high-quality technical drawings
14. Thorough knowledge of current building regulations
15. Driven to keep up to date with the latest software, designs, and environmental issues
16. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD would be ideal
17. Strong time management and organisational skills
18. Ideally, you will live locally to the Wigan area
