About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Project Manager to join our team at our Deeside site. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in managing work transfer activity between our UK suppliers and suppliers based in Lower Cost Economies (LCE).
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with business functions including Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, Engineering etc. to ensure seamless product/part manufacturing knowledge transfer to the in-region team prior to work transfer launch.
* Support visits from LCE suppliers for business reviews, technical assessments etc.
* Work with the in-region team to ensure robust supplier technical requirements reviews, production readiness and first article flow plans are in place to deliver projects in compliance with customer requirements.
* Contribute to the improvement of supply chain processes throughout the business.
Requirements:
* Degree educated in Business Management related subject (ideally Supply Chain) or Engineering.
* CIPS or APICS qualified (preferred).
* Familiarity with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations and Production Planning concepts.
* Proven experience in project management with successful full life cycle completion.
