My client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled SMSTS HVAC Senior Fitter. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile commercial and residential projects across Central & West London and Slough.
The Role:
As an SMSTS HVAC Senior Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will lead a team of fitters and ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and lead HVAC installation teams on-site.
2. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
3. Maintain high standards of health & safety, ensuring compliance with SMSTS guidelines.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to junior fitters.
5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless operations.
6. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
7. Identify and resolve any technical or operational issues efficiently.
Requirements:
1. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification - Essential.
2. Proven experience as an HVAC Fitter / Senior Fitter within the commercial or residential sector.
3. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, pipework, and associated components.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Full UK driving license.
7. Willingness to travel across Central & West London and Slough.
