About the Role: As an Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to their diverse client portfolio. This position demands an approachable and professional individual who understands client requirements and delivers exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
2. Preparation and submission of year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
3. Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and established clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
4. Managing client expectations, arranging closing meetings to finalize accounts.
5. Mentor and support junior team members, providing training and feedback to help them develop professionally.
6. Contribute to the development and implementation of streamlined workflows to improve efficiency.
Requirements:
1. The successfully appointed individual will be a qualified (part-qualified) practice accountant (ACCA/ACA/AAT).
2. Significant experience within an accountancy practice is essential.
3. Proficiency in accounting software.
Additional Requirements:
1. Experience in managing and/or mentoring junior members of a practice team, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
2. Proficiency in navigating professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact.
3. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving business requirements.
