Production & Manufacturing Support | Hands-On Fault Finding | Hardware Testing
Are you a hands-on electronics engineer with strong fault-finding skills down to component level? Do you have experience working in a manufacturing or production support environment, ensuring high-quality testing of electronic hardware? We are looking for a Test & Electronics Engineer to support and enhance Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions, playing a key role in hardware testing, troubleshooting, and improving test processes.
About the Role
As a Test Engineer, you will:
Support and troubleshoot digital/analog electronic hardware and power control systems.
Perform fault-finding and repairs down to component level to maintain test equipment.
Develop and optimize test solutions for production, ensuring high efficiency and reliability.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and R&D teams to support New Product Introductions (NPI).
Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and other test equipment for fault diagnosis and validation.
Assist in designing, improving, and maintaining ATE systems, housed in 19” racks, managing power control, digital I/O, and communication interfaces.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Strong hands-on experience in fault-finding and troubleshooting electronic hardware to component level.
* Production support experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of electronic test automation (ETA) and power control systems.
* Ability to prototype, test, and validate electronic hardware designs.
* Proficiency with test instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers.
* Ability to define and document test requirements, specifications, and risk assessments.
Desirable:
* Experience with PCB CAD tools for prototype design and PCB layout.
* Knowledge of I2C, RS232, CANBUS, and National Instruments test automation solutions.
* Familiarity with safety-critical systems and high-power optical/electronic devices.
* Understanding of mechanical enclosures for 19” rack-mounted test equipment.
* Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools (including Visio).
