Are you an organised and capable Account Manager with a background in logistics looking to work for a global business that has been operating for over 100 years and who actively trains and promotes from within?

On offer: A role where you will be responsible for a portfolio of customer accounts, overseeing the European and Global export and import of liquid chemical goods, serving as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
As the Customer Service Specialist, you will:
1. Link with commerce to provide guidance and information to create chemistry with customers, offering optimal supply chain solutions on export and import inquiries.
This role would suit someone who:
1. Is very well organised, logical, keen to progress, and possesses strong numeracy and literacy skills.
The responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the operational contacts with the customer.
2. Build relationships, understanding the customers' needs and requirements, translating for business use, and providing sustainable logistics solutions to assist in the customer's supply chain.
3. Maintain high levels of communication across internal teams to ensure customers' requirements can be met and the operational teams have the necessary information to plan.
4. Optimize the logistics services provided in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Inform customers and recharge any additional charges that result during the course of an order.
6. Provide customers with order updates and relevant documentation (CMR, invoices, heat certificates).
7. Obtain and coordinate the documentation necessary for import, export, and transit movements in line with Brexit clearance processes.
8. Monitor the gross/operational margins on customer accounts to suggest and implement improvement suggestions.
The person:
1. Experience in a customer service, office-based environment in logistics.
2. Experience of working in a people/customer facing role.
