Following routine planned maintenance schedules, such as plant inspection and overhauls including the reporting of all findings Responding to breakdown situations and have the ability to prioritise and make conscious decisions in a swift manner Working to the highest standard of health and safety in a team working environment Requirements of the Structural Team Member Essential Requirements of the Structural Team Member The candidate must have previous experience within a similar role The Structural Team Member will have a high technical ability and be adept at problem-solving awareness and the ability to methodically fault find any issues. The focus of the team will be on building and executing the planned maintenance strategy, including repairs through PPM systems (Planned Preventative Maintenance. A key focus will be the early identification and rectification of faults, in order to reduce failures. The Structural Team Member will hold a Recognised Structural apprenticeship (ONC level or equivalent) A working knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems and other applications, which are widely used by the Engineering function Ability to read and understand engineering and technical drawings and work with technical data Experience in Team working, worked within a team and / or capable of self-direction Structural experience using a variety of welding equipment and processes MMA MIG TIG Oxy-fuel cutting Ability and experience of working to weld procedures Must be multi-skilled in a heavy industrial environment. Plating and welding experience of heavy and light fabrications. Desirably with pipefitting experience Experience using electrical and mechanical tools and machines such as guillotines, saws, grinders, drills, croppers etc. Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams The Ability to follow Safe Working Procedures and Proactively demonstrate a good attitude of Health, Safety and Environment matters specific to the role which are widely used by the Engineering function Experience of assessing risk and able to carry out Point of work risk assessments, identify any hazards and implement sufficient control measures to create a safe environment Experience of adhering to SWP’s, risk assessments, procedures and permit systems Demonstrate good housekeeping awareness and standards Experience of working in confined spaces, working at heights and overhead crane maintenance. Awareness of Isolation and Immobilisation systems Desirable requirements of the Structural Team Member Experience desirable in testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws by testing techniques such as MPI, Dye Penetrant etc. The Working pattern of a Structural Team Member The Working Pattern of a Structural Team Member is day shifts 06:00 – 16:00 pm. Your working pattern will cover 2 out of 4 weekends with days off in the week.
