Location: Brodetsky Primary School, Henry Cohen Campus, Wentworth Avenue, LS17 7TN
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher to lead our early years provision. In this role, you will be managing the progression of the EYFS; leading the EYFS curriculum and sharing creative and inspirational ideas in order to guide staff to outstanding professional practice. Working closely with the school Senior Leadership Team, you will also be expected to contribute to school developments and lead by example. The role comes with a generous 50% management time with the remaining 50% being class based. The successful candidate’s class-based time can either be in EYFS or in an alternative primary class.
We are looking for someone:
* who will actively support the ethos, educational vision, policies and direction of the school.
* who has a passion for EYFS teaching and learning and an outstanding knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development that can be utilised to motivate, inspire and stimulate curiosity, interest and enjoyment of learning in all of our pupils.
* Have experience of leadership and making a clear impact on pupil outcomes.
* Have a secure knowledge of the teaching and learning of phonics and strategies to encourage rich language acquisition.
* Have high aspirations for all children rooted in the belief that every child has the potential to succeed.
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team.
* High expectations of pupils in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour.
