About the Role:
The Senior Systems Engineer will maintain all servers and network infrastructure for our London studio, Google Workspace, and Microsoft environments and technical support requests, including licensing administration, onboarding, and offboarding, while coordinating with the USA teams. Candidates will also provide end-user support in conjunction with other staff members. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in creative studios and be process-orientated with a key focus on developing and maintaining processes and documentation within a growing, global IT department in a fast-paced, dynamic creative environment.
Details and Functions:
1. Manage and maintain server and network infrastructure, patching, and security levels
2. Perform deep-level and root-cause analysis of problems encountered during the normal course of operations
3. Identify potential risks and issues across IT projects, develop risk mitigation strategies, and oversee their implementation to minimize project disruptions.
4. Manage vendor relationships for procurement and e-cycling efforts
5. Perform physical inspections and maintenance of server/network infrastructure
6. Drive remediation activities for audit and examination findings related to the company's infrastructure.
7. Assist with day-to-day support needs and escalations
8. Collaborate with other technology managers and team members to maintain and revise technical standards and documentation as part of a unified strategy.
9. Identify budgetary needs and document CapEx and OpEx expenditures appropriately.
10. Coordinate with the US-based IT team for system management, maintenance windows, and other system/network updates as necessary
About You:
Required Skills:
1. 5+ years maintaining Google Workspace
2. 5+ years maintaining Office 365 / Azure Active Directory (Entra)
3. Previous experience in creative companies with familiarity with production pipelines (Nuke, FTRACK etc)
4. 5+ years experience Dell / Juniper / Aruba switching
5. 5+ Years experience with Windows server administration
6. 3+ Years experience Linux server administration
7. 3+ Years experience with Teradici / HP Anywhere
8. Experience with scripting languages (Powershell, Python)
Preferred / Optional Skills:
1. Experience working with FTRACK and other production pipeline tools
2. Experience working with InTune, Jamf or other MDM / EMM providers
3. Experience working in a mixed Windows, Mac and Linux environment
4. Experience with vmware and Hyper-V
5. Experience with Citrix Workspace, Xenapp
Education / Certifications:
Candidates should have a relevant degree in computer technologies or network engineering or equivalent certifications in lieu of a degree. Candidates with an extensive level of experience will be considered in lieu of a certification.

Salary Pay Range:
£55,000-£66,000 GBP
