To implement and evaluate care as a member of the MDT ensuring that high quality, individualised care is delivered and that this promotes recovery and wellbeing and maximises independence. To support the team in providing excellent and effective person centred care based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity. To assist colleagues in the provision of training to others. To actively engage with supervision and appraisal process as identified in Trust policy Assist the therapist to plan, design and develop therapy and intervention activities within the objectives of the treatment plan. The post is across Durham and Cleveland, and will involve regular travel to and work within Probation offices and Approved Premises within the area, as well as within the local communities and some custodial appointments. As a wide geographical area this can present some challenges, but to assist with these demands, we support flexible working requests for example carrying out some duties (where appropriate) via TEAMS or other online platforms. The post offers a number of CPD opportunities and we actively encourage personal and professional development via supervision, CPD and training activities. Applicants who do not meet the academic requirements of the post but fulfil other requirements, may be supported to obtain the relevant qualification. Our service user group includes people who have convictions for violent and/or sexual offences.
